The Resort is a 15min Tuk-tuk ride away from the train station (too far to walk). The resort is next to a river with views of the surrounding area. I visited in February. Because of the proximity to the river, DO NOT open the windows to take night pictures of the city...you will spend the night wondering if you swatted all the mosquitoes that flew in (I caught 4, but could hear the last one with the lights off...so, I slept completely under my covers until the next morning). The room was acceptably good, except for the shower hot water which kept cycling hot/cold every couple of minutes. This happened for 3 different showers at 10pm, 3am, 10am. A colleague of mine in another room did not have this problem. So, my hot/cold water cycle problem must have been room related.
