Very dissapointing

I stood at the counter for 10 minutes. Only one other customer was being waited on. The Staff did not greet me or my spouse as one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. My room had a hole in the ceiling. When inquiring about the hole I was told it was for a smoke detector. I was disappointed with that situation because I was given a room that was not safe. When speaking to the staff on the phone about changing my room, I was treated rudely and told to see them in them in the morning. I spoke with the General Manager about the whole situation and He appologized for the poor performance of his staff and changed my room. You may be sure that I will never stay in that Hotel again. This stay was for my Honeymoon and I can not express my distain with this organization. As a Member of several Farang groups in the ChiangMai area, I have provided my input on staying at this High classed named, Poorly managed Hotel. Thank you for the inquiry.
