In august 2011 the hotel will have a sky train station 300m away which is very convinient to get to the city center, especially Siam Paragon(35THB in one direction 15min ride). I stayed at the old wing, so the review marks are for the oldwing hotel. If you're a non-asian tourist this is a great place to stay, because the moment you step on Sukhumvit road, nobody tries to rip you off, since this is on the other side of the absolute tourist center, which is very good, because in the main tourist areas a lot of people try to offer you b*shit(5baht/person tuk-tuk's, small bag of bird seeds for 150baht, diamonds etc...). The breakfast is amazing, self service buffet almost like in a lower-top class restaurant. All in all, if you're not an american spoiled douchebag or mummy's spoiled daughter&son, this is a great value for your money. WiFi has to be payed by buying various expire-coupons 350THB for 24hrs of surfing without logout.
