Although the hotel is centrally based,it seems rather clostraphobic crammmed in betwween higher buildings.I expected a little more welcome from the staff who appeared dull and uninterested in their customers. The breakfast was far below what i normally receive anywhere else in that type of hotel in that price range.A/C would also help in their small dining room,especially when it is busy. I was appalled at the treatment i received from reception on checking out.They tried to say we did not pay for 1 extra room i had booked over the internet for a friend of mine.We showed them the receipts and pointed out that my wife had the day before had shown them the recept on booking my friends in to the extra room i had pre booked and payed for. They still demanded money until i became cross and refused to hand over cash,i insisted they phoned the hotel agent up to confirm i had payed.They did this and had it confirmed.They did not apologise but insisted it was my fault?????????????????? saying i had not informed them or they were not notified??? To my knowledge you pre pay for the room on all occasions so why were they allowed to stay if they had not payed? I sincerely beleive they attempted to obtain monies from me through deception,especially as they did not have the decentcy to apologise. I have made sure all my colleagues friends and family in Thailand do not use that hotel as we frequent Bangkok regularly on business.
