Always a great hotel to stay in

Unico Silom is currently under going a major renovation. As such, the day time jack hammer noise can be a little disturbing. The hotel is a quick 10 minute walk to the Patpong night markets and bars. There is a sky train station close by too. The breakfasts used to be superb but with the recent unrest in Bangkok and noticeable lack of tourists and subsequent drop in the hotel's occupancy the buffet range is a lot less than it was. Anyway it is still great value and the staff still as efficient and nice as they always have been.
