Sadly the Madarin is a smaller hotel since the 2007 fire closed one of their buildings, but the service is still good and the staff friendly and polite. The hotel has an excellent location just across from the Chamchuri shopping center and an easy walk to the Patpong night time entertainment areas.....

Mandarin is a fairly old hotel in the centre of Bangkok on Rama IV road. Located close to MRT station Sam Yan, you can easily travel to big shopping malls like Siam, or the other way you are close to China Town. The staff is very friendly and really treats you like a VIP. Have been staying at the Mandarin the third time.They had a fire recently,so the facilities were somewhat limited.
