Good value for the money by J.K., Taiwan - May 23, 2008
This was a decent, mid-range hotel in an good location. It's not five star accomodation, but it was clean and quiet, and had a good sized room, with in-room fridge and safe. The location was excellent - five minute walk to Kao-san Rd, about 20 minutes to the Grand Palace. There was an on-site tour office, for making reservations and providing advice.
The view wasn't great, as our room looked out over a canal dredging in progress, and there weren't a lot of frills (pool, spa etc), but the hotel is great for people who plan to be out sightseeing during the day, and are going to use the room mainly for resting and sleeping.
We didn't eat at the restaurant for anything but the breakfast buffet (which was included); the latter was varied and tasty - a mix of Western, Chinese and Thai food.
