Fabulous Hotel!

Our stay in the shanghai hotel feb 08 was fantastic! best hotel we stayed in while in bangkok. Location is brilliant, right in the heart of china town, just 2 mins away from the amazing markets and restaurants. the hotel is full of character and is beautifully decorated throughout, especially the bedrooms which have four poster beds, colourful bathrooms with brilliant showers and gorgeous lantern style lighting. Our room was cleaned and tidied twice a day, the bed was very comfortable, AC was great, bathroom was lovely, small with a shower, wash hand basin and western toilet. The staff were very friendly, helpfull and great at suggesting places to visit while in china town. We stayed for 3 nights and would have stayed a lot longer had we not a plane to catch!! Can't wait to go back to thailand and will definately stay at the Shanghai Inn again. .........the spa is worth a visit too.......we booked in for three hours before we had to go to the airport and had a wonderfully relaxing time.
