Stayed here last week of April. After arriving at the airport, I rode the EA bus 1 (worth 150 baht at entrance 8 groundfloor) and told the driver to drop me off at SILOM 26. Hotel is old and you can see it. They didn't clean the room while staying there. I asked the front deck about it and he started barking on me. It was actually my fold that the room was not cleaned?!? I should have given special request to clean it. Front desc guy had bad attitude problem! NEVER ....

We chose Silom area because we wanted to get some suits and a dress tailored. During our first stay we had a nice room on the 7th floor. For our second stay the room was not so nice, the A/C was leaking and the room was smelly :( but the service was always very good.

Really good value, Excellent location, easy to get to skytrain and Siam. Rooms getting in need of renovation. Staff very helpful and friendly. Dont bother with breakfast, its eggs,eggs or eggs unless you are Thai. I will stay there again. If you want to go 4/5 star prepare to pay a little more b....

Good location for nightlife and shopping (skytrain access is only about half a mile away), but kind of removed from cultural and historical sites. This is not a problem, however, due to the countless and affordable tuk tuks and taxis.
