A brief stay in Bangkok (Silom)

Our stay in the hotel was from 1st to 3rd Oct 2010. The staff were curtious, friendly and helpful. Our safe did not work (Rm 216). A quick phonecall to reception and with a near instant responce a young man came to check. One dead safe, and we were moved to room 217. Neither of the rooms had any view from the window. Rooms were quite large and very clean but a little "tired". Nice area, good restaurants in the adjacent "Silom Village". Fair value for the money for somewhere to sleep. 16:00 pm taxi ride from the airport was 410 Baht including expressway fees in moderately heavy traffic.
