Hotel in Bangkok for my purpose

I had lived in Thailand for 8 years and needed a place to stay in Bangkok so I could meet my friends for a day and then take he Nonthaburi ferry the next morning. The Hotel staff were friendly and efficient and everthing I needed worked. The fridge was well stocked and the bathroom/shower good. This is an older building that has been refurnbished. The street that the hotel is located is old style Thailand and if you like mingling with the local culture then it should suit you well, close to the river and 10 minutes from the Shangri-la.
