The Regent was very centrally located (for the bustle of Silom) and very close to the MRT station. The main hassle was tracking down where the hotel was when we arrived (one of us by train, the other by air). As often happens in Bangkok, taxi drivers don't know where addresses are: if the hotel info said: "next to the Silom Road MRT station" I'm sure we'd have found it more easily!
