stayed here in December 2007 for 3 nights. Beautiful setting, fantastic pool. Bungalows very swish, nice bathroom, very roomy. About 25 mins walk or 10 mins tuk tuk from Night Bazaar. More expensive than nearby options but worth it for pool alone. Would recommend this for couples wanting a peaceful....

Living in luxury in La Luna for the best rate possible

In my 5 trips to Thailand I've never stayed in a nicer resort than La Luna, Chiang Rai. My girlfriend and I got engaged whilst we were at La Luna and we brought her parents with us from Bangkok. The bed was huge, even bigger than king size, our bungalows were kept very clean all week long, the pool ....

great surprise in Chiang Rai

Since we were just planning a quick overnight trip to Chiang Rai en route to a boat trip on the Mekong, I wasn't looking for anything special. Boy were we surprised! The hotel and grounds are lovely. The pool was a welcome relief. The adjoining restaurant delicious. We had a wonderful stay.
