Clean budget hotel in Chiang Rai

The SB Hotel in Chiang Rai is a good budget alternativ for travellers with their own transportation. The distance from the towncenter is too big to travel and the cost of the taxi or tuktuk could also be spent on a more central location. We had the last room at the end of the corridor and the wireless access point could not cover the distance. As usual the thai personel was very friendly and helpfull but couldn't hardly speak any english. This makes it difficult to get the things you want. A nice hotel on a quiet location but not everyone's favorite.
