Decent Hotel in Hat Yai

I booked the rooms via HotelThailands weeks ago. Was disappointed that we were given lower floor rooms (4th floor with the air-condition compressors as our neighbor)despite requesting for higher floor. Hotel claimed they didnt receive notice. The evening was painfully loud with compressors' sound echoing throughout the night. Room was looking dated with furnitures getting old. Room was fully stocked with food and drinks in mini bar fridge. However, there were no hot drink making facility (jug kettle and instant coffee/tea). Hot water can be requested however. Overall, room was clean with fresh towers and bedsheets. Toilet decently clean looking (again despite looking old)with with basic amenities and toiletries For guests with cars, there is a guarded semi open (but shaded) car park nearby Walking distance to shopping areas and food
