The staff were very pleasant (typical Thai courtesy) and the rooms clean and tidy. The concept of having one's own swimming pool didn't quite match the expectation and the the hotel complex lacked 'feeling' and seemed a bit impersonal. The hotel is quite far out of town (20 mins van ride) although the hotel has regular van rides in and back, but these have to be booked as they get full and you pay extra for. The food was good but expensive for Thailand. 10% service charge and 7% VAT was added to the bill on top of the prices advertised on the web.
