Comfy, clean, friendly and affordable find in Hua Hin

Stayed in March for three days at this friendly, clean, comfortable hotel 4km south of central Hua Hin. 5min walk to a long, white-sand beach. Rented a moped for 250 baht/day from the front desk and cruised up to town/temples and back with ease. The pool is nice--ask for a room with a view of it. Several families were staying with small children. Rooms have ice-cold AC, fridge, hot showers and big comfy beds. Downsides: not much English spoken by staff (but they try!), no wi-fi in rooms (but free internet PC at reception), breakfast wasn't great (but short walk/drive to restaurants), construction noise from big new complex next door (but they stop work at night). Overall, would recommend--great value.
