great design but too hot/loud by the pool

The seahorse is a beautiful funky looking hotel and the rooms and bathrooms are like something out of a design magazine however due to everything outside being white and it not being right next to the beach ( where you can get a seabreeze) I found it too hot to sit near the pool for any lenght of time and I am someone who loves the sun and goes to Thailand regularly so am used to the heat. I also hated the loud music that they constantly played round the pool which you could hear whereever you were as all the room terrances face the pool - this meant to enjoy the hotel I had to shut my windows and doors an put the aircon on - a real shame because they are very friendly and it has great design but if I can't lounge by the pool or read a book queitly on the terrace its not right for me. Don't worry about location its 5 mins walk from a lovely beach with food stalls and only a short ride in a tuc tuc to hua in town.
