As a farang Barali was not on my list of resorts to go and see this year, but my wife who is a native Thai wanted to go back to resort because of the bathroom. The bathroom is done so that you feel that you are outside yet are inside and protected from the bugs and elements. The sunken bathtub is great for soaking aching muscles or just relaxing with one and the other in a bubble bath. So here I am writing a review for an excellent hotel. The view of the Gulf of Siam when you go to the resturant or Spa or just to go swimming is breath taking. Most enjoyable in the morning for sunrise and especially for the evening for sunset when having dinner or a late swim in the sea. The pool is fantastic in that it is never too long or to short for those of us who need to swim lengths to keep the weight down. The jaccuzi is also a nice touch to help sooth aching muscles from walk along a very pretty and well looked after sandy beach. The staff was excellent and were there when you needed them. When the effects of the cyclone went through on May 4th and it rained very heavy all day. Staff continued to do their duties and room was taken care of. The site is very well located for those who wish to explore the island and take boat trips to other islands. Would I come back yes because of the friendliness of the people and also because they have made a great impression on my wife.
