Shantaa resort is a bit secluded and the beach not the best at koh kood. We liked Siam beach much more. At Shantaa beach there were a lot more rocks and a lot more waves. Our "sweet" was outstanding! Peaceful isolation during the monsoon.

Its such an excellent place in this most secluded of islands in thailand i went during the off peak season (during may, anytime before november as well) and though the weather was quite stormy I loved the isolation. Virtually no other tourists were around and we had the whole resort to ourselves!....
