Beautiful, calm and secluded!

Shantaa resort is a bit secluded and the beach not the best at koh kood. We liked Siam beach much more. At Shantaa beach there were a lot more rocks and a lot more waves. Our "sweet" was outstanding! The room was modern-thai with panorama windows, even though there was a lot of palmtrees between the bungalow och the ocean it was a very nice view. The bed was the softest one ever in Thailand and this was our fifth travel and we have stayed in a lot of hotels. Also the bathroom was amazing, big round bathtub and a separate shower half out- half indoor with a lot of plants and decorative stones and tiles, just beautiful.The only thing to complain about is that the AC was off between 8-17 every day and the fact that the price for the room was a bit to high. But I liked to go down to the beach finding fresh beachtowels and bottles of water waiting for us. The food was good, not the best we had in Thailand but absolutely ok. To summarize we would recommend a short visit but after a couple of days you probably want to move on.
