We did not enjoy our stay at Haad Yao Bay View Resort. The staff were rude, there was construction operating during our entire stay (even on christmas day at 8am!), the lay out of the reort was cramped (ie we never wished to use the pool as it is located right to the restaurant) and we felt the reso....

Great location, not so great hotel

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Room - we were expecting a double bed and were presently surprised when there was a king. Apparently all double rooms have a king. However, the maids were terrible. Sometimes they didn't clean the room until after dinner time and throughout our 11 day stay ....
