We stayed at Long Bay for three nights and did not want to leave. The staff was absolutely wonderful. We made friends with the bar tenders and they took great care of us. Went for the Full Moon Party and arrived 4 days early. We had no intention of being on that side of the Island until the Party and this was the perfect choice. The Long Bay Resort is in a truly wonderful location, on Had Yao beach. Although there is some building work going on on the "road" side, we were not affected by it. The beauty of this place is the peace & quiet and the beach - the water is so shallow and like a bath! We thoroughly enjoyed our four....

The prices for an airconditioned room with t.v was very over priced compared to other places on the island that we had experienced, walls in the bathroom were old and stained. Again compared to other places the room could have been a little cleaner for the price.
