On the whole the room was satisfactory although it was smaller than i was expecting from the photographs and when we first arrived the air conditioning unit was not working. An engineer soon managed to fix the problem. We used the spa on the terace once but had to clear the rim of the ants before we did so. We found it a little odd that the restaurant specialised in Italian food when Thai food would have been better. The sunbeds on the beach were lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting watching the sun go down although it was a case of getting towels on the beds to make sure you got one. We did have a very enjoyable stay but felt that the hotel needed a facelift and was too expensive and therefore not exactly value for money.
