Nice place for family with small children

We were two families with small children: One family with a 7 month baby and one family with a 10 month baby and a 3 year old child. We stayed there from January 2nd to January 12th. We enjoyed our stay at Krabi Apartment Hotel. First of all, special thanks to the receptionist, Wor, who gave us an outstanding service. All of the staff were friendly, however only Wor understood English properly. The apartments consist of a bedroom, a bathroom and a livingroom with an integrated kitchen. The rooms were well suited for a small children family due to the kitchen and the extra room. The shower hot water system was a bit troublesome at first, but we solved it after a couple of days. The area is quiet, but a bit remote: A few minutes walk to the nearest shops and restaurants and 20 minutes down to the beach. A proper taxi down to the beach/Ao Nang centre costs about 200-300 Bath. A tuk-tuk is cheaper. The pool is nice and well suited for children. We would rate this as a 3-star hotel: It is clean, nice and new, but a bit remote.
