I was blown away by the beauty of The Nantra Deluxe. The staff was excellent and the rooms were superb. The cable station variety was not the best, but thats not why I was there. Although the restaurant was small and kind of plain, the food was very good. The one glaring problem was the location. It was an hours drive to anywhere. Being that I was a single person, there was virtually nothing for me to do. On my second day there, on the trip to Aou Nan, I found another hotel and reluctantly moved. It was the only thing I could have done, and I am thankful I did it.Other people I met at Nantra expressed the same concern; a beautiful place, but NOTHING to do. This should be made clear to prospective clients. When the Nantra gets some activities together and a more suitable bar-restaurant it will be unbeatable.
