Hidden Paradise Escape But A Bit Remote & Expensive
by American Asian Honeymooner, United States of America - Oct 17, 2009

Excellent resort! Very luxurious, comfortable and peaceful. Make sure you stay at a pavillion near either Railay beach of Phranang, as Nammao is the one you arrive in and is somewhat dirty. The only complaint is that the restaurants are mediocre and prices are very expensive. Room Service is excellent and highly recommended though, cheap for room service prices. Breakfast is excellent though! World class breakfast of Continental and Thai tastes! -Hint, you can eat at the other resorts restaurants for lunch or dinner along Railay beach and there's a little town for you to walk through Highly recommended are the spa, though may seem a little pricey are well worth it for the safety, expertise and atmosphere. Also highly recommended are the Activity cetner of Rayavadee as their staff are experts and they have speedboats and cars which transport you safely to fun activities like Elephant riding, Scuba etc. Their staff are all fluent in english and you won't be stuck with one of the other agencies and have to worry about safety like what happened to us when hotel thailand gave us a free day trip to Phang Nga (James Bond) island and there was a lot of mixups. Rayavadee will arrange to pick you up/drop you off to and from Krabi Airport, and put you to and from their resort in speedboat! Very safe and fast. Hotelthailand.com
