We have stayed in quite a few hotels in Thailand and feel this one has been unfortunately the worst one that we have stayed in. Compared to other hotels this is expensive. You do not mind if the facilities and service is very good, but this resort is not. The place is run down, even by Thai standards. We stayed in Loie the night before and was charged half the price for a much better room. Our advice would be to give this resort a miss and we found out that there are much better resorts that are much cheaper.
