We spent three nights at Baan Krating. The bungalows were lovely, definately worth the money. I was not pleased with the bathroom cleanliness however - the loo clearly hadn't been properly cleaned for some time! There is a great pool right beside the river which was fantastic and we had to ourselves as none of the Thais would have drempt of swimming in such cold water... The breakfast was ok but nothing much in comparison to other hotels we have stayed. The front desk were not very friendly at all. I think they are used to dealing with Thai's that come in hoards for the weekend, and not farangs. There are seemingly no useful factilities such as internet, you have to go into town, which is about 2 km (walkable), but we hired mountain bikes. We will stay somewhere else next time in Pai.
