Peaceful stay in Mae Hong Son

I stayed at Fern Resort for 3 very relaxing and peaceful days. It's first class accommodation with restaurant and swimming pool on a beautiful landscaped property next to Mae Sakud national park. You can go for a nice nature walk leaving right from behind the restaurant through forest along a creek with 3 separate waterfalls. The food is very good in the restaurant as well. The staff is what makes this place especially a good experience, very friendly and helpful with your requests. There is a free shuttle that will pick you up from the bus station or airport and makes a few trips to and from town every day. The only inconvenience is that the resort is outside of town and if you don't get the shuttle you have to get a taxi to bring you back for 200 baht. I had a good experience at Fern Resort and would recommend it for a rest or romantic getaway.
