Business class hotel in Korat

Korat is a business city with a large airbase from the Vietman era. This hotel is geared towards the business trade, visiting military and or the budget traveller. The hotel is near to the Bic C shopping mall. It is run by a Thai Chinese family who are always on site to assist. The services are adequate and the staffs are friendly, the rooms are clean, large and airy but overall the hotel does need a re-decoration. It located about 20 minutes (walking) to the market area and the Vietnam War entertainment area. Former US military can be seen visiting in the area and telling tall tales of their war experiences. The menu offered is adequate and the buffet breakfasts are plentiful even if Thai-Chinese fusion, still it is possible to make an adequate meal from the selections on offer. There is a very active disco and basement bar in the hotel basement which the locals enjoy. This is a good place for people watching and or just a late evening drink.
