Ita a hasle to get to,and away from local signage is almost non existant Getting into N/kai is a hasel as no Tuk tuks or Taxis wait near the hotel so a phone call is the norm and the charge is often over the top We didn't want to stay at this hotel as our last two visits over the last five y....

I will try another hotel next time in Nong Khai

The pool was very nice, but the room and rest of hotel were somewhat shabby considering the amount of money that I paid. I would have liked to be closer to town also. Everytime we wanted to go somewhere it was at least a 150 baht tuk-tuk ride. Also we had to pay extra for children to eat buffet b....

Nice hotel, with a big outdoor pool. Close to the brigde across to Laos. The hotel is however some distance from shopping area and Lotus Tesco shopping mall in Nong Khai. App. 15 min by tuk tuk. If you like nice and quiet surroundings, with a great view of the river, this is a perfect. The staff....

I enjoyed my stay at the Royal Mekong. It's location somewhat outside Nong Khai is not ideal if you want to be in the city itself. However, there are great views of the river and the bridge. Breakfast good; bedrooms comfortable; staff helpful; large swimming pool excellent.

Big hotel with plenty of space but in need of renovation. Paint was water stained, and peeling, carpets dirty and stained, aircon noisey and bathroom very average. Breakfast was reasonable.
