Lost a customer

My only complaint was that I when I first booked my room I was not familiar with the hotel I stayed at and only booked for a few days incase my experience was not of my liking. The hotel was ok but when I asked about staying additional days at the desk they said they had rooms but the rate was higher unless I when to an internet cafe and rebooked using the computer. I thought it was totally a waste of my time to go to a computer place get on the computer simply to rebook my room and instead just chekced out walked down the street and got another room at another similar place for the same price. My only comment is what a poor way to do run a business tell a current guest they are not able to extend their current stay at same rate at the hotel itself instead of having to mess around with the computer reservation system. The end result was I left found another place of similar value and quality and rebooked there the past two times I have been in Thailand simiply becuase of what the desk clerk said was policy. Go figure, I thought policy would be to keep existing guests in house.
