Great Stay in the Sunbeam

All in all it was a great stay, the staff was very good and helpful, room service was wonderful and responsive. But am a bit irked at having to cancel my 4th night due to an urgent departure and they still charged me for it, most hotels I stay at never do that and never require me to write a statement as to why I am leaving? What is that all about?
