Spacious rooms and balcony

The staff at reception, room service and restaurant were friendly, and did their utmost to give us a good time. I have suspicions that the staff cleaning the rooms were cutting corners - we strongly felt that when we enetered the room for the first day, some sheets had been used already, and also the towels and even the bathrobe in the wardrobe. A glass that had been used was just put back in place without washing it up. It puts one off. The room itself is very spacious and so is the balcony. The view is the nice, freeform pool and then another building - no glimpse of the sea. No decorations on the walls whatsoever. No menu or any travel/trips information in the room. Room service was only a few hours available because one night there were not many guests. We were already planning to eat outside the hotel, but if we would have wanted to eat in, it would not have been possible. The tennis court is not ready to play yet. Right now building activities are going on when you look from your room, and I thought it would have been fair if this had been mentioned on the website. A view of a crane and building material is not exactly pretty. Breakfast was very Thai, but quite a good choice. A lot of younger Thai people seemed to find it normal to arrive at the restaurant with their crumpled pyama's still on, but I understand the hotel is not to blame for this in the first place. If we would not have had the idea that sheets and towels had been used before, plus also the floors would have been cleaner behind the doors for example, we would have liked it better. Now we still enjoyed ourselves, thanks to the friendly staff and the spacious rooms. The pool is definitely pretty and spacious as well.
