first impression was OK, then when starting to use the hotel the impression went down, the toilet had a blockage so water and human things was over flooding, complained 4 times in the first 24 hours, we were then offered another room, closer to the sewer / drain with a terrible smell. we refused these rooms, next to our new offered room the toilet was removed and there was work ongoing in the sewer system. the hotel manager the explained that he had been there for 10 years and it wasnt easy to get things fixed quickly, finnally they found to other rooms which was ok. for families with small children the area is very limited because of the swimming pools, smaller children cant play un-attended it is not safe and there is no life guards in the areas. the staff was very nice and was giving full value for the money, friendly and smilling helping as much as they could. we did order a schuttle bus service from the air port out and back to the air port, out was very good, back not so good, apperently hotelthailand accept mini buses with no seat belts for the passengers and when the driver started to talk mobile phone we kindly asked him to stop and talk, he accepted, but apperently it must have been a important conversation because he then started to drive with a speed of 150 km/h. we the told him to slow down which he didnt found ok, but he did slow down to 130 km/h which for me still is too fast when there arent any seat belts. So next time I will refuse to enter such a vehicle and take a proper taxi.
