Enjoying our stay at The Briza Beach

My mother and I stayed at The Briza Beach Resort&Spa for 3 nights. The hotel was very quiet and easygoing and we could get to the hotel about 1 hour drive from Phuket airport. We were staying at the beach front room which was spacious and comfortable. The decoration of the room was clean as well as lovely. We had a cozy time in the room. We enjoyed having a comfortable chat at the terras and lying in a comfortable position on the long chair located in front of our room. Unfortunately, the previous month, the PAD (antigovernment group) had prevented a lot of tourists from entering Phuket airport. That was why there were little people there. Regarding the meals in the main restaurant, we were looking forward to having a lot of Thai food there, but we could not. The menu of the restaurant had only a limited selection of items because of a material shortage. Every morning, a couple staff maintained the pool in a good condition. It was not big but very clean so my mother could swim freely in the pool with no people. Most of the time we stayed at our room with doing nothing special. Although we could not explore the eighborhoods but according to a guide book,there are some restaurants and shops around the hotel so you can have your meal out there. Anyway we were satisfied with the hotel and recommend the hotel to people who want to spend a quiet hour.
