Fantastic 9 days at the Sarojin, Khao Lak

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sarojin. The resort is absolutely beautiful. The room we stayed in was very nice and housekeeping was very good. We especially loved what they did with the towels, very creative. The nice thing about the resort was also that you never had the feeling that it was crowded. Being one of the few in such a place makes it feel quite exclusive. One of the nice touches were the cold scented towels we were handed on every possible occasion. Especially after our bike trip were they very welcome. We also liked the fact that there were complementary bikes available whenever we wanted them. The same goes for the scheduled shuttle to Khao Lak. The activity manager did a great job organising our dive trips with Sea Bees. We had very little to worry about and she took care of everything which was very nice. It worked out great and we had a fantastic time diving in the Similans. We can only recommend Sea Bees as well. Very professional and friendly. We also took the trip to Phang Nga Bay which is a must. The views were absolutely stunning and the whole day was again very well organised and a great experience. Our guide was very good and his knowledge of Thai culture and history made the whole trip a lot more interesting. The Spa was expensive, especially compared to the local massage parlours in town, but the atmosphere and treatments were in a class of its own. We only ever ordered the Thai food and it was excellent. The seafood evening on the beach and the Thai buffet were delicious, beautifully set up and had a great atmosphere. But in the end the most important thing to us was how friendly the staff was. Everywhere we went, whether when we had dinner or were in the lounge, we were greeted with smiles. Everybody always took the time to have a little chat with us. We felt everybody did their job very well. We can only congratulate the Sarojin for having such wonderful staff!
