Disappointing stay in Phuket

Service at the front desk is poor. I traveled in a group of 6. Lots of forms to fill up upon check-in and front desk can't clip the right passport with the right room number. They are unfriendly and not helpful. No umbrella for loan at the front desk even it was raining and there is no covered walkway to the rooms. I have to make a fuss to get one. Pool side and breakfast counter service are good. Overall is disappointing especially the front desk service as I thought this is a 5 stars hotel.
