Nice stay at Bann Pae Cabana

We stayed 11 nights - from mid to late August 2010 - at Bann Pae Cababa. It was low season and only a few more guests stayed at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the food was very good. The rooms are small thai style huts with an outdoor bathroom build as a "normal" bathroom, but just only with a half-roof covering the bathroom. It is nicely made and gives a feeling of thai style living. The hotel is located relatively close to a small fishing pier and sometimes - especially in the evening - there was a bit of a smell of fish and shells. The hotel has a nice, big swimmingpool. The location is very quiet, but a bit remote, so if you want to explore the area you may need to rent a moto bike. At a small coffee shop run by 2 young thai sisters you probably get the best coffee in the whole Rayong province. It is just about 4 kilometers away. Both the coffee and the service is outstanding and they also have a moto bike you can rent.
