The hotel is situated a bit far from the nearest town, so if you don??t have a car or motorbike it??s hard to get around. Taxis are expensive in Koh Samui compared to Phuket or Bangkok. The surroundings are beautiful, but there??s nothing to do within a walking distance from the hotel. If you want to lay on the beach and enjoy the peace and quiet - it??s a perfect hotel for you. The bungalows are very nice, not a bad word to say about them. In my opinion the hotel could use some extra services - like massage, a spa etc. There is one restaurant at the hotel. It??s nice and the food is good. The personnel was smiling and helpful, but like in most places in Thailand, they don??t speak very good English, so half the time you can??t understand eachother. Arayaburi is the kind of hotel that charges you for every extra move. Overall, the hotel is nice enough, but if you want some action, choose something else :) I guess it would be perfect for honeymooners etc.
