we stayed at the Silavadee for 7 days in October 2009. first impression was the wonderful friendliness of all the staff food in the height restaurant was good , although i did not have a HOT coffee once. We stayed in the standard room which had all that was needed . We were picked up and returned to and from the airport . Nice pool and view of the Andaman sea Would stay again if back in Koh Samui.
