We wanted to travel from Surat Thani to Koh Samui. We asked the staff at the front office how we could arrange the trip. Oh, no problem, we have tickets for 450 bath per person. You will be picked up at the hotel, they bring you to Don Sak where you take the ferry to Koh Samui. So we bought the ticket from them, why wouldn't you trust the hotel information? The next day we were picked up by mini-van with airco at the hotel. After a trip of 500 meter, the mini-van stopped at a bus-station, we were dropped off and they bought for us a ticket for the bus and the ferry to Koh Samui for the price of 210 bath. So we were taken in by the staff of the Wang Tai Hotel for 240 bath each. I don't care to pay more for a service, but this is more than twice and that doesn't feel right. The Wang Tai Hotel will never see us again. You are warned now.
